Teresa ~ Owner
Teresa is the owner of operator of Tangles Hair Studio and Tanning. She has been a Master Stylist and Color Specialist for more than 35 years.
Teresa opened her very first little shop in 1999 with zero clients and has truly built her business from the ground up. She moved to her current location in 2005 and her business reputation is one of the most respected in the Tri-Cities area. She specializes in Color, Cuts, Microblading, Eyelash Extensions, and coming soon permanent makeup.
Cassie
Cassie has been a Master Stylist and Color Specialist for 41 years. She trained as an instructor through Lamarick Corporation and went through the PHD program with Carol Lyndon Smith Academy.
Cassie's philosphy has always been "When you are green you grow and when you are ripe you rot." Saying that she believes in education and staying up to date on the latest styles and techniques.
Cassie is also an accomplished artist, Specializing in color pencil portraits. She has had some of her art published on 3 different occasions. Recently she was recognized in the April 2021 Pencil Box Showcase.
Cassie says she believes the creativity and inspiration from her art spills over into her work with hair and makes her a better stylist.
Cassie has been happily married to Jeff for 35 years. They enjoy traveling and visiting their only daughter, Hannah, and the work they are involved in with church.
Jessi
Jessica “Jessi” has been a lifelong resident of Sullivan County Tennessee and graduated Cosmetology school at Sullivan Central High School. After school she landed her dream job and now 20 years later she is still doing what she loves. She is a Master Hair Stylist and enjoys making people feel good about how they look. She spent 15 years styling in Kingsport before finding her true salon family at Tangles. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children on their mini farm. Where life is always an adventure and can get quite crazy at times.
